ABOUT REVIVED POWERSPORTS

 

Where It Started

Revived Powersports began in 2021, not with big money or a fancy shop — but with a 32’ Triton sled trailer, a pile of tools, and a mission to keep sledders riding. To make it happen, founder Derrick sold off his own toys to buy the trailer, trading play for purpose. He moved from Savona, BC to Revelstoke with nothing but grit, experience, and a deep love for the sport. There were no shortcuts — just long nights, cold fingers, and a whole lot of hustle.

 

Built on Sleepless Nights

The early days were rough — and real. Derrick spent countless nights wrenching straight through until morning, making sure every sled was ready to rip for the next day. Whether it was a full rebuild or a last-minute fix, he made it happen. No one missed a bluebird day on his watch. It wasn’t just service — it was dedication.

 

From the Trailer to the Shop

Derrick’s been sledding since he was a kid and has been deep into mountain riding since 2009. He earned his Skidoo certification in 2011 and has hands-on experience with every platform from the original Rev chassis to the latest tech. After two seasons grinding out of the sled trailer, he was able to move up and rent a shop. In November 2023, Revived Powersports officially opened its first full-time location in Revelstoke — built from hard work, long hours, and the support of the sledding community.

At Revived, sledding isn’t just business — it’s a lifestyle. Every member of our team lives for throttle therapy, and we know exactly how it feels to miss a perfect pow day. That’s why we’re relentless about getting riders back on snow. We take pride in providing honest service, quality parts, and work that stands up to the terrain.
